This model is a development of the Torres guitar, and is based closely on a guitar by Herman Hauser I built in 1938. The fan bracing system is similar to that used by Torres and Hauser, but with low transverse struts replacing the bridge plate normally used by Hauser. The headstock is a traditional Torres/Hauser design, and the finish is French Polish. The rosette is a traditional style, with a fine herringbone pattern, echoed on the bridge tie-block, and the guitar features a V-joint between the neck and head. The back and sides are Indian rosewood, and the fingerboard ebony.
