New Audio Samples from Nick Fletcher's latest CD
My guitar teacher Nick Fletcher has recently recorded a new CD featuring some of his own compositions, and some Baroque transcriptons. He has kindly given me permission to put a few audio samples here on my website. These samples were recorded on his 2007 spruce/Indian rosewood Lister guitar. Have a listen on the Samples page.
Lister Guitar Plans Now Available!

Classical and flamenco guitars, hand made in the Spanish tradition, and to the highest standards, in my workshop in Sheffield.
My principal aim as a classical guitar maker is to build instruments that respond to the player's touch, allowing them to express their own musicality, and not be dominated by the character of the guitar itself. My guitars are light and responsive, with excellent clarity and separation. Built mainly in the tradition of Torres, most of my guitars are made to a consistent design based on a 1938 Hauser, but incorporating a slightly modified strutting pattern.
Each guitar is handbuilt to meet the customer's requirements, using best quality tonewoods throughout. European Spruce is normally used for the top, although western red cedar is an option. Indian rosewood, Brazilian rosewood, flamed or bird's-eye maple, walnut, macassar ebony and ziricote are available for the back and sides of the guitar.
